THE BELLS at St. Michaels, Bishops Cleeve
There is a peal of eight bells rung from the chancel loft, although in earlier days the bells were rung from the chancel floor. In addition there is a Service Bell rung from the chancel itself. The original six bells were all cast at the famous bell foundry of Rudhall in Gloucester, between 1700 and 1758, the two additional bells being added in 1951.
